It’s spoken by some 90 million folks, total, perhaps in the following countries:
Tanzania
Kenya
Uganda
Rwanda
Burundi
Congo (DRC)
Somalia
Oman
Comoros Islands (including Mayotte)
Mozambique
So, in direct answer to your question, Swahilii is not much spoken in South Africa. It tends to be a central and east African language, and would be spoken really only by those South Africans who were immigrants from places like Tanzania or Kenya.
Look at this site:

According to that, it is spoken there a litttttle bit, but not really! Hope this helps!
