My online Swahili dictionary gives
I want it
or
I like it
or
I love it.
Mimi = I
mapenzi from penda = to like or love or want
u = object pronoun "it".
Perhaps the sender was trying to say
"I love you".
its a kenyan word…….MAPENZI relates to the department of Anthology no idea what MIMI means
